Vacancy: Firestop Technician (Passive Fire Protection)
BraVeBo B.V. works daily on firestopping / passive fire protection in mission-critical environments. We install certified penetration seals and linear joint seals according to EN 1366-3/-4 with classification EN 13501-2, aligned with Dutch WBDBO (NEN 6068) and WRD (NEN 6075 Sa/S200). We also deliver premium interior finishing, insulation, and painting.
🛠️ Who are we looking for?
- Hands-on workers with two right hands and a no-nonsense, get-it-done mentality
- Experienced professionals and eager learners who want to grow
- Tasks include: firestopping (sealing penetrations/joints), painting, and flooring (PVC, laminate)
- Fit, reliable, and punctual — on the job we focus on the work, without distractions
- A VCA safety certificate is a plus (we’ll help you obtain it if you don’t have one yet)
- Basic Dutch or English is sufficient
🔧 What you’ll do
Firestop / Passive Fire Protection
- Install fire- and smoke-resistant penetration seals and linear joint seals (EN 1366-3/-4, classification EN 13501-2)
- Work with intumescent and endothermic products (sealants, collars, wraps) and high-density mineral wool
- Ensure smoke tightness per NEN 6075 (Sa/S200) with neat detailing and correct sealants/coatings
- Maintain traceability: photos, QR/labels and a logbook per seal (ISSO/SBR 809)
High-quality Interior Finishing
- Painting: professional finishing of walls, ceilings, frames/doors and stairs (crisp, durable, neatly masked)
- Floors: expert installation of PVC, laminate and carpet tiles (level, clean and dust-free methods)
- Partition systems: install system partitions, fire-resistant and acoustic walls; finish joints/frames
- Insulation works: mineral/glass wool systems (ULTIMATE™, stone wool boards/mats), CE-marked, EN-tested (fire/thermal/acoustic, Euroclass A1)
- Finishing touches: skirting, sealant work, tidy handover and quality checks
🎓 No experience? No problem.
If you have the will to work, we’ll teach you the rest.
We invest in reliable people who want to learn and grow into a firestop and interior finishing specialist — with open-ended development opportunities.
🛡️ Investment in craftsmanship (clear and fair)
We invest heavily in quality. Training at BraVeBo is not a “YouTube course” — it’s hands-on coaching with strict standards.
- Internal training (practical + guidance): intensive on-the-job coaching, preparation/quality control, use of training materials, and working strictly according to the BraVeBo procedure.
- External education: costs for required external certificates and courses (e.g., VCA, manufacturer training, product/system certification) are not included in the internal training and will — where applicable — be recorded separately.
- For employment (employees): training arrangements are agreed within the employment contract and our internal HR policies.
- For ZZP/B.V. partners: if BraVeBo incurs costs for onboarding, safety training, badges or specialist system instructions, investment retention applies: costs may be set off against invoices and, if the cooperation ends on the partner’s initiative, remaining costs may become immediately due and payable in line with General Purchase Terms — Article 33.
- Long-term focus: we build for the long term. We train specialists for a sustainable career with BraVeBo — not for passers-by.
This represents significant value (in practice: thousands of euros per program).
Exact arrangements are confirmed in the employment contract (employment) or in the cooperation agreement + General Purchase Terms (ZZP/B.V.).
